Aim of the project

Aim of the project is improving the access to graphic information for blind computer users. This shall be made possible by the use of a new assistive technology.
By the audio-tactile "T3" tray it is possible to represent graphics in a tactile and acoustic way and to deposit the represented elements at several virtual (difficulty-)levels with audio files. It therefore will possibly for blind users to include graphic representations.


Products of the project:

During the project 20 audio-tactile slides for each of the following courses will be developed and evaluated:

  • Food hygiene
  • Sports physiotherapy
  • Introduction to ICT basics
